Ortegas character in “Killer Queen” embodies the archetype of the ‘final girl’ role commonly seen in horror movies. Although Phoebe lacks the level of agency as characters like Tara from “Scream” or Lorraine from “X ” Ortega skillfully portrays her character with shades of her potential, as a horror film star.
